  Will ESPN’s Purchase of WCBS-880 Impact Fordham’s Michael Kay? Recently it was announced that long-time all-news radio station WCBS 880-AM will become ESPN 880-AM in the New York Tri-State area . How does this impact the potential success for Fordham University graduate Michael Kay (FCRH-Class of 1982)? Michael Kay splits time between his New York based radio show, on ESPN, and doing play-by-play for the New York Yankees television broadcasts. He is unquestionably the “main guy” in the booth at Yankee games, but has been lagging behind in the rating rivalry with the other all-sports call-in radio show over on WFAN, in that very lucrative afternoon drive-time slot. Afternoons saw The Michael Kay Show finish 12th for the 4th quarter of 2023 with a 3.6 during the hours of 3:00 pm-6:30 pm. St John's Hall, Rose Hill Campus Fordham 1898. My little sister Mo' is the best. Even though she didn't go to Fordham she knows about this dog-and-pony show I'm running and she looks around for old photos for us. Bronx: St. John's Hall, on the grounds of Fordham University, between Bronx Park and Pelham Avenue, east of the railroad tracks, 1898. Eugene L. Armbruster photograph collection, 1894-1939 I'm interested in those RR tracks. They must be the ones that stop by the campus and are currently used by the Harlem Line (Brewster) and the New Haven Line (Connecticut) on their way to Grand Central Terminal. Therefore, the photographer must have placed his camera along Webster Avenue for this shot.
