Starring Ali MacGraw, Ryan O’Neal and Ray Milland; it was directed by Arthur Hill.
IMDb said, “A boy and a girl from different backgrounds fall in love regardless of their upbringing - and then tragedy strikes.”
Roger Ebert said:
The fact is, however, that the film of Love Story is infinitely better than the book. I think it has something to do with the quiet taste of Arthur Hiller, its director, who has put in all the things that (Eric) Segal thought he was being clever to leave out. Things like color, character, personality, detail, and background.
Running time: 1 hour and 40 minutes
